Dandelion jelly

This was a tedious process but I’m so glad I made it. I’ll post a link to the recipe below.

With the help of one of the kids from camp,  we harvested enough dandelion flowers to make six half pints of jelly.


The time consuming part was pulling the petals to get four cups. Once I got four cups I made a tea by pouring boiling water over the petals and let it sit overnight.

What struck me the most was when I  started heating up the strained tea, it smelled like honey. And, it tastes like honey too.
