Bourbon, vanilla, peach jam

This was a new one for me…I’ve made peach jam for years, but never tried this recipe.

So I ran to the orchard this morning for some fresh peaches and was lucky to have the company of a dear friend and her precious little baby to help and keep me company while we made two batches of the jam.

The house smelled amazing with the essence of the bourbon, peaches, vanilla beans and cinnamon sticks. And it’s always a great day when you get more jars than the recipe stated and had no jars crack during processing. 

Twenty jars done and all sealed.
