After quite a time away from canning I got back in the kitchen today to make wild violet jelly.
This is probably the easiest wild flower jelly to make.
We have a huge patch of wild violets in our back yard. It only takes 2 heaping cups of flowers (no stems). If you want to make it for yourself make sure the flowers haven’t been sprayed with anything.
It’s really simple to make and it tastes so good on home made biscuits!

My recipe made 5 full jelly jars and one half full jelly jar. The half full one went right in the refrigerator to eat immediately!
